MaxKiwi: bringing flavours closer since 2021

Active since 2021, our company imports and sells fresh produce, particularly fruit and vegetables, alongside a selection of food specialities. We supply both individual customers and resellers directly in Switzerland.

Food safety guides our work: attention to transport and storage conditions, product traceability, checks upon receipt and clear customer information. We are committed to meeting the Swiss requirements applicable to food imports, hygiene and the sale of food products.

Our aim is to offer quality products, approachable service and clear information about what you buy.

Your data, used to serve you

Sapla Carvalho Pereira Trading SNC, c/o ExpertFid & Audit SA, Rue des Alpes 11, 1700 Fribourg, Switzerland, is responsible for MaxKiwi’s processing of personal data. We apply the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) where applicable.

We use your contact details, account information, orders and correspondence to answer enquiries, process purchases, arrange delivery, provide after-sales support and fulfil legal obligations. Technical information needed to operate and secure the website, including IP addresses and connection logs, helps prevent abuse and resolve incidents.

We do not sell or rent your personal data. We do not share it with third parties for their own direct marketing.

Hosting and service providers

Store data hosted and retained by MaxKiwi is stored exclusively in Switzerland. This location does not extend to external providers’ own processing.

Information needed for an order is shared with your chosen payment provider and the carrier responsible for delivery, including DPD. Payment services offered include WooPayments, PayPal and TWINT; Apple Pay and Google Pay are involved when you choose those wallets. These providers apply their own privacy rules, and some processing may take place outside Switzerland, notably in the European Union or the United States. Their notices describe the applicable countries, recipients and safeguards. Hosting the store in Switzerland therefore does not guarantee that all payment data remains in Switzerland.

Retention and security

We retain information needed to manage customer relationships and enquiries, then delete or anonymise it when no longer needed, subject to legal duties and ongoing disputes. Accounting documents are retained for the statutory ten-year period. Access is restricted to people and service providers who need the information to perform their tasks.

Cookies and your rights

The website uses cookies needed for the basket, sign-in, security and your language preference. Optional technologies requiring consent must only be activated after you agree; that consent can be withdrawn.

Where the GDPR applies, processing is based on performing the contract or taking steps at your request before a contract, legal obligations, our legitimate interest in securing the service and handling enquiries, or your consent where required. You may request access, correction or deletion, and exercise rights of objection, restriction or portability where the relevant conditions are met. You may withdraw consent for future processing and complain to the Swiss FDPIC or the competent European supervisory authority.
